“My advice to other disabled people would be, concentrate on things your disability doesn’t prevent you doing well, and don’t regret the things it interferes with. Don’t be disabled in spirit, as well as physically”. Stephen Hawking

It was 1991 when the small airline Air Dolomiti started to operate its first interregional flights from Trieste to Genova in a Bombardier Dash 8 with only 50 seats.

Right from the very beginning, Air Dolomiti has been working to build a trustful relationship with its own personnel and passengers based on inclusiveness, efficiency and attention to detail.

Look at details, always look at the horizon.

We have always been committed to all the people who choose our company and we have always strived to make travel accessible to passengers with impairments or reduced mobility.

Assistance can be tailored to passengers’ requirements on board our aeroplanes and in all airports where our flights operate.

Whether you’re flying for work or fun, we want to offer a quality service that makes departures, arrivals and airport transits pleasant. Passengers with impairments or reduced mobility do not need to be concerned about distances, airport procedures and baggage service.

Assistance requests include:

  • airport assistance during boarding, landing and/or transit
  • use of your own wheelchair (manual or electric), including in the cabin
  • transport of special medical devices
  • transport of a guide dog

People with visual or hearing impairments can transport their guide dog for free and the dog can stay next to its owner throughout the trip.

Furthermore, in compliance with current ENAC regulations, the assignment of seats for disabled passengers and people with reduced mobility next to their travel companion is free of charge.

Please contact the Air Dolomiti Sales Center when you book your ticket in order to request assistance based on your requirements at least 48 hours before your flight.

Ad Astra!
