On his website Andrea Lorenzon says history wasn’t his strong point at school, yet he is an undeniably talented and captivating storyteller. We invited him to Munich and Frankfurt to create two semi-serious guides about our favourite German cities.

From the moment we realised that Andrea Lorenzon is also the creator of the brilliant and audacious Cartoni Morti and the travel documentary series La Storia dei Dintorni, we knew that he was the right person to present our beloved cities, Munich and Frankfurt, from a fresh new perspective – and we were right!

Through his light-hearted and irreverent stories, we began to see these cities through different eyes, delighting at previously unnoticed details and discovering the ironic side of the stories, icons and symbols that we thought we knew so well.

Destinations

How well do you know the Air Dolomiti Destinations?

On tour with Andrea Lorenzon, Frankfurt becomes an amusement park in which Goethe’s Young Werther is “a young guy in love who is put into the friend zone” and the headquarters of the ECB (European Central Bank) is the set of an unlikely news report.

In Munich, every occasion with him is a good excuse to have another beer, while searching for fountains that look like Pokémons and rediscovering a distinctly dandy King Ludwig II of Bavaria.

Are you able to keep up with his fast-paced jokes?

We invite you to take a walk

on the wild side around Munich and Frankfurt!
